Company: Major Banking Organisation
Role: Senior Planning and Change Manager

Strategic Executive Partners successfully placed a Senior Planning and Change Manager into the Group Risk Function at a Major Banking organisation.


The Group Risk Function realised that they were losing senior and skilled staff as they had no HR representation in regards to development of their staff.


The organisation went out to market to seek someone with experience in Change Management as well as Regulatory Compliance. Unfortunately they struggled to find suitable candidates through their PSL. After meeting with and taking a detailed speciation from the Head of Risk and Compliance, we went out to market to find the right candidate. From networking and headhunting we were able to source the perfect candidate who had a very strong background in Regulatory Compliance and Strategic Change with a wealth of banking experience.


As the company were losing some skilled permanent staff it was essential that changes needed to be made to the system and processes. Our candidate introduced an IT solution to see where people could develop further; he initiated, developed, scoped and implemented a Group Risk integration HR programme which consisted of 5 Group-wide projects impacting 5000+ Risk employees.


The contractor is in the last month of his assignment and we have now developed a strong ongoing relationship with the organisation. The organisation were very impressed with our Quality of service and we have since provided them with further Change, Risk and Compliance candidates into the business with additional requirements in the near future.
